Katy began her career as an artist at an early age in England by following her artist uncle and mentor around with her sketchbook. This led her to the Sheffield Art College where she studied drawing and painting and on to the prestigious London Central School of Art where she majored in theatre set and costume design. After graduation she embarked on a career in the theatre, designing for plays, opera, ballet, and film.

On moving to America, Katy returned to her first love of painting and chose watercolour for her medium. Her award-winning paintings are held in private and public collections. Several of her works have been featured in magazines and other publications.

Katy returns to England each year to sketch and paint. Also, she has been visiting other European countries and, more recently, Central America and Mexico which has resulted in many paintings and drawings in a series of sketchbooks.

A constant rewarding comment from her collectors is that your paintings bring happiness.

Thank you for viewing my paintings and may you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
